ETS

ETS is a federally funded program of the U.S. Department of Education. The Goal of ETS is to encourage students to go to college. Two thirds of our students are both low-income and first generation but we serve everyone. Our office is located at Diablo Valley College.

• College Visits
• In-school Workshops
• Academic Tutoring
• Summer academic enrichment programs: Math, English, College Planning, Testing & Career Exploration.
• Assistance in completing college admissions and financial aid applications
• Assistance in preparing for college entrance exams
• Fee waivers for college entrance exams, admissions, and financial aid application fees.

NOTE: Students need to receive 4 services per year to remain in the program. We encourage students to participate as much as they can in the program. Increased participation will look better on college applications.

• Usually meet at DVC or Concord BART Station.

• Lunch is often provided.

• Transportation is provided.

• If ride BART or bus, tickets will be provided.

**Need to turn in permission slips ahead of time if want to attend field trips.
